Peach Smoothie Recipe with a Tropical Flavour

Good morning, I think it’s time for another smoothie recipe right? This ones really creamy and full of flavour. I added peach along with a whole load of tropical fruits. Head on down to read exactly how I made this peach smoothie!

As I have mentioned before I love waking up and having something refreshing for breakfast. It’s really rare nowadays that I actually have a cooked breakfast, so I have to keep things interesting and change up my smoothies. One I always go back to, possibly every other day (losing track of days) is my Chocolate Shake. I can’t help it, it’s my favourite! But I do like to have a fresh fruit or green smoothie on one of those days in-between.

I have mentioned before that I use a Vitamix for all my smoothies, we even blended the sauce for Tom’s Katsu Curry in it the other day! But I use my Vitamix daily at least. Yes they’re slightly more expensive than your average blender, but they are so worth the money. I will be putting up a couple of different smoothie recipes over on IGTV on our Instagram page, so if you don’t follow us on there, hit the socials at the bottom and get following us!

If you can spare the money for a Vitamix, it will be one of the best investments you’ve ever made (for the kitchen that is). That may be a slight exaggeration ha! But you can throw all your fruit in, completely frozen and it blitzes it to a smoothie consistency within seconds!! It’s amazing!

Peach Smoothie

A tropical and delicious smoothie containing peach, strawberries and banana.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 x Frozen Banana
  • 2 x Frozen Strawberries
  • 2 x Small Peaches
  • 250ml Oat Milk
  • 250ml Water

Instructions

  1. Add all your liquids into the blender.
  2. Add in your peaches and frozen fruit.
  3. Blend for 2 minutes until creamy and smooth.
  4. Serve!

Notes

  • When you're freezing bananas, wait until they're slightly overripe. You want them to go a little brown as it will make your smoothies creamier.
  • I like to use mason jars for smoothies as they hold around 450ml of liquid which I think is a great amount of smoothie for breakfast!
  • Glass or metal straws! I have never used plastic straws at home, but I have used metal ones for a few years now. Isn't it great that you just wash and reuse them? I am getting some glass ones from Amazon as you can see they are completely clean before and after use!
