Mellow Yellow Smoothie with Mango & Pineapple!

This Mellow Yellow Smoothie is zingy, refreshing, and full of flavour and great for warmer days! It contains mango, pineapple, banana and much more! It seemed to fit perfectly as it’s been so warm over the past week. Don’t get me wrong I drink smoothies all year round, but I don’t always want a chocolate or green one…sometimes you need a fresh, punchy one!

I do enjoy coming up with different smoothie recipes, and this is possibly one of my favorites. I do always try and put in green juices on the in-between days. The ones that are packed to the brim with kale and spinach, but it’s always nice to have a change and occasionally have a fruity one.

Packed with Vitamins!!

I put frozen bananas as a base in every smoothie recipe, they’re high in potassium, magnesium, fiber, and vitamin b6. Mangos are high in vitamins C & A, Pineapples are also high in vitamin C but above all, they all have high antioxidant properties. Passionfruit, that’s the one we get a real kick from, that’s high in vitamin C, but it also contains iron! Yep, so if you’re vegetarian or vegan this is perfect to boost your iron!

Tropical Smoothie

Mellow Yellow Smoothie

A cool and refreshing tropical smoothie, with banana, mango, pineapple and passionfruit.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Total Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Mango
  • 1/2 cup of Pineapple
  • 1/2 a passionfruit
  • 1 x frozen Banana
  • 300ml Oat Milk

Instructions

  1. Add all your ingredients to the blender and blitz.
  2. Serve and Enjoy!
